SHOW SYNOPSIS

Brilliant and solitary, Dr. Silas Merryweather has never been great at making ‘friends.’ But when the famed writer is struck down with a Glioblastoma Brain Tumour in the prime of his life, his devoted assistant, Harriet Jennings, decides it’s high time he do some long-awaited soul-searching.
After signing the recluse author up for ‘Homies for Hospice,’ Frankie-Jean Wallis reluctantly enters their world. At only twelve-and-a-half, Frankie is twice as cynical as Silas, and arrives with her own deep-seated baggage, as well as a frank outlook on life and death that intrigues the ailing man. An unlikely friendship blossoms, as the two pessimists navigate a life that is ending and one that is just beginning.
Described as a ‘comedy about dying,’ Head in the Game is a witty and emotional tale about the beauty of companionship in times of trouble.
