A TRIVIAL COMEDY FOR
SERIOUS PEOPLE.

In this vibrant and playful reimagining of Oscar Wilde’s beloved comedy, The Importance of Being Earnest becomes a celebration of queer identity, love, and joy. Set in a whimsical world of pastel hues, Jack and Algernon’s charming deceptions are infused with warmth and humour as they navigate mistaken identities, secret engagements, and the pressures of Victorian society. Cecily and Gwendolen join in the delightful chaos, as all the characters embark on a journey of self-expression, love, and playful rebellion. In this production, "earnestness" is not just a game — it’s about embracing who you truly are, unapologetically and with uncontainable joy.
