BAH HER-BUG

After a successful run in December 2022, Penny & Pound Theatre is pleased to remount MISS SCROOGE to kick off the holiday season! Raise your skirt and bob your hair! You’ve never seen A Christmas Carol like this! Set in Depression-era New York City, this favourite with a twist follows curmudgeonly Ebenezer Scrooge— a miserly Wall Street darling with a hatred for the holidays and a troubled past that comes back to haunt her. Visited by three spirits, Scrooge is forced to confront her past and face her future, while looking at her life link-by-link. Complete with a score of toe-tapping original songs, Miss Scrooge is a feminist retelling of a timeless Yuletide classic, sure to chase away the holiday humbugs.

DIRECTED BY Piper J. Distel and Lori Robinson Distel
CHOREOGRAPHED BY Norah Wardell
MUSICAL DIRECTION BY Madie Lawrence

Presented in association with ELORA DANCE & HEART.
